Any given space mission has to go to space before it can become successful and useful for people on Earth. Getting there is one of the focal points of the Netherlands space community.
Dutch companies and knowledge institutes have a proven track record in the development of space bound hardware for launchers and satellites. They operate at the forefront of technological innovation, creating cost-cutting solutions for the production process of current launchers and concepts for future launch capabilities that deliver (small) satellites into Earth orbit.
The commercialisation of space leads to new opportunities. It also comes with challenges. How can we build systems that are more versatile? How do we fly novel ideas faster? And how do we launch them in a safe and cost-effective way? The Dutch space sector combines high-tech innovations with solid research and testing to provide the answers. Together with partners around the globe, the Dutch pave the way for new space initiatives and a way to get them to space.
