With nearly 100 highly qualified employees, the company creates new production process technologies to make spacecraft components more affordable for its clients. This made Airborne market leader in the manufacturing of solar-array substrate panels in Europe.

Airborne focusses on state-of-the-art solar-array substrates, affordable panels for mega-constellations and affordable structures for small launchers. Based in The Hague, The Netherlands, it serves customers such as Airbus Defence and Space, SpaceTech and Thales Alenia Space.

To this date, Airborne delivered over 200 sandwich panels for satellites such as Galileo FOC, Sentinel 1, 2 and 6 and EDRS-C, with another 50 panels under contract for future satellite missions.
